Class Information (PLEASE READ)

CBRF OVERVIEW

A CBRF certification allows an individual to work in a licensed State of Wisconsin Adult Family Home and/or Assisted Living Facility. All four CBRF training classes are required for complete certification which includes Standard Precautions, Medication Administration, First Aid & Choking, and Fire Safety. 

YOU MUST BE 18 YEARS OLD OR OLDER !

CBRF REGISTRY

All classes includes State of Wisconsin CBRF registry fees. Once participant has completed a class, they will be added to the CBRF registry by the approved instructor within 10 business days.

ALL CLASSES ARE CURRENTLY OFFERED VIA ZOOM. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR  DEVICE IS COMPATIBLE BEFORE REGISTERING FOR A CLASS.

  • Computer. Windows or Apple computer with speakers, a microphone and webcam. 
  • Mobile Device. iOS or Android  

CLASS INFORMATION and REQUIREMENTS

  • Each participant must answer 90% of questions correctly to pass the written test.
  • Each participant who does not attain a passing score may re-take the test one time on the same day. A second failure requires the participant to re-take the course.
  • Each participant must engage in class discussions and your video camera MUST BE ON AT ALL TIMES!

Medication Administration-Two Day Class (14 HOURS)

  • Skills Test
  • Written test Required

First Aid and Choking (4 HOURS)

  • Written Test Required

Fire Safety(3 HOURS)

  • Written Test Required

Standard Precautions(2 HOURS)

  • Written Test Required

CLASS MATERIALS

EACH PARTICIPANT WILL BE PROVIDED A PARTICIPANT GUIDE AND SKILLS KIT(MEDICATION ADMINISTRATION PARTICIPANTS ONLY)

Please allow 2-3 business days for processing and 3-5 business days for shipping your class materials. In addition, you will receive an email regarding information for Zoom and testing within 7 business days. Please check spam folders if this email if it is not visible in your inbox. IF YOU HAVE NOT RECEIVED YOUR CLASS MATERIALS 7 DAYS BEFORE THE CLASS START DATE CONTACT US IMMEDIATELY OR YOU MAY HAVE TO RESCHEDULE.


REFUNDS & RESCHEDULING

All sales are FINAL. If you would like to reschedule a course you must email marionhealthcareacademy@gmail.com within 7 business days before the class start date. It is recommended that you contact us immediately as classes may reach capacity for specific dates and may no longer be available.
